TT-Worksheet
On the worksheet the selected character is displayed. The left and right vertical line are symbolizing the header and trailer spacing1MGFNYM. The horizontal line under the letter is the base line of the font, the line on top of the letter represents the upper length, i.e. the height of a capital letter. The vertical lines can be moved to define the header and trailer spacing. For more information refer the respective chapter1MGFNYM.
The base line and upper length are defined by the font itself, but the character can be enlarged or moved.
For enlarging or reducing the size you can drag the green arrows on top and bottom of the letter. Depending on the stitch direction you can create a certain pull compensation, so that letters with vertical stitch direction appear in the same height as those with horizontal stitch direction when embroidered.
The letter can also be shifted between these both horizontal lines, but first you have to activate the move-cursor
on the popup-menu
Normally the character is displayed as contour lines with stitch directions and contour cuts on the worksheet. You can display the stitch fill with the button show stitch preview
on the popup-menu
If a contour, cut, or stitch direction has been changed, the stitches also change. The button recalculate stitch preview
updates the stitches.
Working with contour cutsJUFQ.Z and stitch directions3W_ESN is described in separate chapters.
