After having pressed this button you can input stitch direction lines. These type of stitch directions only work on simple areas without holes or shadow regions. If the area has shadow regions you can either separate them with contour cutsJUFQ.Z or the direction lines have to be input with the button straight direction lines .


The input is done by clicking left and right of the contour. The lines click into outline. Each area needs a beginning- and end stitch direction, they should be positioned as near to the outline as possible.

If you are in the overwriting mode, you can edit existing division lines. If you click inside of a division line, you can move the line entirely. If you click at one endpoint, this point is moved, so the line is rotated. 


It also possible to have the division lines calculated automatically by pressing the button Recalculate stitch directions4AFL0DS . For more information please refer the corresponding chapter.
