If this function is switched on, the screen is not refreshed after every deletion or insertion of a stitch or an automatic point. This results a considerably fastening of the working speed, especially when having large designs. But there can remain "dirt-effects" on the screen, which can be cleaned by redrawing once at the end of all deletions or insertions. The redraw function can be started either in the display-menu or directly by using the key-combination CTRL + Z.
