Here the start conditions for the machine functions can be set. In the window below a machine function can be set on basically with the switch in front of the function. Functions which are switched off are not present at the design. The switches on or off behind the functions are setting the start condition.

Multihead:

Here you can define the start needle of the machine. If your machine has got the head selection feature, you can input the head distance here. As well as for revolutions control the respective buttons are displayed in the manual punching mode. They are stored only in the ZSK transport code, all other stitch data codes dont support these commands.

Shiffli:

In the dialogue-field Repeat pattern the start condition for the repeat-pattern  can be input. There are the following values available:

1 - 9 are the classical repeat pattern for 1 - 4 needles or 16/4 repeats

10-90 is an extension of the repeat pattern up to 13 needles or 52/4 repeats

100 - 990 define repeat-group blocks. The last both numbers define a normal repeat pattern as described above and the first number defines the needle group according to the same principle.

Example: 006        every 4th needle starting with the first needle

106        every 8th needle starting with the first needle

206        every 8th needle starting with the 5th needle (2nd group of 16/4)

605        every 12th needle starting with the 3rd needle (1st group of 16/4

905        every 12th needle starting with the 12th needle

Starting from repeat pattern number 1000 free repeat pattern can be defined. They can be inserted under Selection in the repeat pattern directory137DFZ_.
