With the active switch the contour underlayer are switched on or off.


The switches in front of or behind Fill underlayer define, if the contour underlayer are embroidered over or under the fill underlayer. It is also possible to switch both switches on, then the contour underlayer is embroidered twice.

 

The Contour distance defines the distance between the automatically generated runnings and the outer contour. This should not be smaller  than the value 1 mm, otherwise there is a large chance that the running will not be completely covered by the area.


The Stitch length parameter specifies the maximum and minimum lengths of the running stitches. This is automatically reduced in curves in order to keep the distance to the contour as accurate as possible.


The swing value causes a shifting of the stitch points in the specified length above and below the stitch line. In this case the shifting is done exclusively inwards the area, so that the underlayer are covered surely.
