Definition of design parts
The definition of design parts or blocks in punch mode is performed by dividing the design into different sections. The division is only possible using manual input type, it is not possible to split automatics. The dividing is initiated by pressing the ‘mark block’-button
or the corresponding entry in the block-menu. The design part is now defined from the the start of the design, or last divide command, to the last stitch before the division. Everything which is punched after this belongs to the next part. The division is visible on the screen in that the cursor appears to be free, that is there is no rubber band connecting it to the last stitch and the join between two parts is displayed dotted.
The ‘mark block’ command can naturally also be inserted later into an existing design, this is done by positioning the cursor on the required (manual) stitch and pressing the ‘mark block’-button or the menu entry. The different parts making up a design follow one after another and cannot overlap.
A block marker can be deleted by pressing the ‘mark block’-button again. If you want to delete all block marker, this can be done with the function connect all in the block menu
