With number the number of runs of the center line underlayer can be defined. Please note, that there might be one additional run because of the runnings to be able to fill shadow areas.

The Contour distance defines the distance between the automatically generated runnings and the outer contour. This should not be smaller  than the value 1 mm, otherwise there is a large chance that the running will not be completely covered by the area.

At the small sides of the automatic it might be desirable, that the underlayer lie closer to the border than on the long sides. This distance can be defined in the value contour distance at end directions

The Stitch length parameter specifies the maximum and minimum lengths of the running stitches. This is automatically reduced in curves in order to keep the distance to the contour as accurate as possible.

The swing value causes a shifting of the stitch points in the specified length above and below the stitch line. In this case the shifting is done exclusively inwards the area, so that the underlayer are covered surely.

The parameter min. contour distance for swing secures that the swing of the center line underlayer will not be closer to the border that the defined value, even if the automatic is of uneven width.
