Coordinate points which are too close to each other lead to curves which are not smooth and are difficult to work with.


All coordinates with a distance smaller than the inserted value in mm to their neighbour-points, are deleted with this function


The inexactness which arises inevitably is not important most of the time while punching, because you don‘t want to get every detail of the drawing. 


Especially if you want to duplicate the drawing line parallely it is highly recommended chose the distance of the points not too close. Otherwise shifting parallely leads to loops in the contour which you have to correct it manually with a lot of effort.
