The exhaust fume cloud at the rear of the car was imported from an already existing design. The original design part showed a cloud in the sky and was not available as reference or punch data but as stitch data only. This cloud would have been too large for the example design and an ordinary shrinking of the design part would have caused the stitches to become smaller and would have increased the density also, which is not the desired result. To avoid these disadvantages, the cloud was edited with the coordinate processor.  The coordinate processor generates reference data out of stitch data with an intelligent converting algorithm. Satin-stitch areas, stepp-stitch areas and runnings can be traced efficiently. Later on, the user can change the size, slant- and rotation angle without loss of quality  In this example, the cloud was reduced in size17P8RD and was rotatedrotatE counterclockwise.
