The user defines here whether the border should have a line of step stitches around it’s inner and outer edges, or should a double Zig-Zag be performed which extends to within a small distance of the inner and outer edges of the Border. The contour underlayer can be performed before or after the fill underlayer by choice or at both times which can be important when making applications. It is also possible to make 2 successive contour underlayer or none of them.

Alternatively the user can select neither of the above to be performed. The distance of the Zig-Zag underlayer can also be defined.

If the frame’s width is smaller than 2.5mm the contour underlay is performed as a center line.
