Monograms can be changed in various ways, like entering the monogramming parameters numerically or changing the monograms graphically. The most important monogramming parameters are :

FontsizeI.04.4, letter width, letter boldness, character spacing and word spacingRV1EV2,

The upper part of the monogram (GiS) was changed in its boldness1SRS0GU (125%), while the lower part (Software) was entered with a 10 degree slant angle and a different needle (colour).


Besides that, the user also can choose between 2 different underlayer116EEE1 types (contour underlayer, zigzag underlayer). The underlayers can be switched on or off independently from each other. (see picture)



A special feature of the BasePac system is the possibility to modify the monogram data. First the text has to be converted to punch coordinates with the convert text to coordinatesBHUV4 function in the edit menu. Then the punch coordinates can be altered in the punch mode. As shown in the example,. you can easily generate logos and emblems with this function.
