Satin stitch correction
With the function satin stitch correction the width of satin stitch areas can be altered and distortions can be compensated.
Satin stitch areas are selected stitch-data blocks. Stitches inside of these blocks with an internal angle smaller than the adjusted angle, are treaded as satin stitches. Normally an angle of 45 degrees leads to good results, but if you have very small satin stitches with a relatively high distance the angle has to be chosen larger.
The satin stitch correction works also on selected punch-automatics, which are digitized with pairwise input mode.

With the factors side1 and side2 you can define the percentage of the enlargement of the satin stitch in one direction. Side1 is the contour, where the first stitch of the block starts.
So it is possible to compensate gaps in your embroidery, for instance because of extreme pull of the cloth. If you click on the switch both sides the enlargement is effective on both contours of the satin
If you choose the switch by axis, enlargement factors for the single directions can be input. In the example below the value for the y-axis was set to 200%. Stitches which lay exactly in y-direction (vertically), will be set to the double length, stitches in x-direction (horizontally) remain the same. All stitches in between are calculated corresponding to their y-value, that means the length of the stitches is adapted smoothly.
