This function enables the grouping together of several modules to form a group, in order to change these together e.g. move or rotate together.

In order to do this more than one module (in arrow mode) must be selected. This is done by either clicking on more than one module while pressing the “Shift” key, or drawing a box using the mouse with the left mouse button pressed so selecting all modules contained in the box drawn.

After grouping together modules the group is treated as one module and any functions performed are performed on the group as a whole.

A group can be broken up into its original modules using the break group 5XZ1.C8 function.
