With this switch the display of the rubber band in the insert mode of punch and editor is switched on or off. If the rubber band is set on a connection line between the last stitch resp. coordinate to the current cursor position and to the next coordinate resp. stitch is displayed. The rubber-band simulates the run of the curve if you have curved display mode. So you can imagine very well the effects of an additional point on your curve.
